Scott Fitzgerald recently sent out a press release announcing his December “office hours,” two of which were on “Thursday, Dec. 14.”
December 14 is a Wednesday. Our local paper already ran the press release without catching the error.
The error could be due to laziness or incompetence, but look at the scan that a fellow constituent sent me.
The upshot: If this is an unaltered document, Scott Fitzgerald sent mail to supporters with the proper listening session day listed and then, for some reason, the day was changed on the press release and his website.
Please note that I have not seen a physical copy of this newsletter, so there’s a chance that it isn’t legitimate. But the press release is posted at http://legis.wisconsin.gov/senate/fitzgerald/PressReleases/Pages/Sen.-Fitzgerald-Announces-December-Office-Hours.aspx If it changes overnight, I have a screen capture as it is now with the incorrect day listed. The Jefferson County Daily Union already published it with the incorrect day.
