I counted all the signatures today and we have 3200 for the first week! That’s well above the average of 300 per day that we need to reach 18,000 signatures by January 14. Of course there was a lot of excitement during the first couple of days and now we’re all settling in for the long haul… it isn’t going to be easy, but now I really think we can do it.

I can’t say enough good things about the amazing volunteers from United Wisconsin, the Democratic Party, and the grassroots groups around the district. Even though we aren’t getting financial support from United Wisconsin and the democrats, those dedicated volunteers are steadily gathering more and more signatures every day by driving from farm to farm, passing petitions around their towns, and pouring their hearts and souls into this effort.

Thanks to all of you, we all have 3200 things to be thankful for tonight 🙂
